Hugo Boss is reinventing by presenting the Spring-Summer2020 collections in New York and Milan this fall. It appears that the brand is now more focused on developing women’s wear and combining it with men’s. Historically, men’s wear was the key market for Hugo Boss. Particularly, office wear, suits, and shirts. Kudos to Jason Wu, brand’s former designer who kept the topic in excitement, growing the popularity of the brand. 2020 is the year when Hugo Boss is trying a new direction of introducing more of unisex, urban designs that are simple, clean, and light. Light both in color and feel. Long skirts, cardigans, and shirts is a smooth transition from pants.
Hugo Boss 2020 style resonates well with young generations that prefer simplistic, unisex designs with little embellishments such as bows, buttons, zippers, and little girly details. Women are trying to claim a higher level of respect in the office, school, and society. She needs to be empowered by fashion that gives her tools to do so. Hugo Boss hits all the right buttons with its 2020 designs.
